Terms & Conditions

Proeltel Electric LLC

These Terms and Conditions apply to all electrical services, digital interactions, and communications provided by Proeltel Electric LLC (the "Company"). By approving an estimate, authorizing work, or interacting with our services, the Customer ("you") agrees to the following terms.

1 Scope of Work

The Company shall perform the electrical services as described in the provided Estimate. Any additional work or “change orders” requested by the Customer or required after project commencement will be billed at our standard hourly rate plus materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2 Payment Terms

Residential & Standard Billing: Payment is due in full upon completion unless a written milestone payment schedule is agreed before start.

Late Fees: Past-due balances incur a 12% flat penalty plus 1.5% monthly interest (18% per annum) or maximum legal rate, whichever is lower.

Collection Costs: Customer agrees to pay all collection costs, including attorney and court fees if legal action is required.

3 Warranties

Labor: One (1) year warranty covering workmanship defects only.

Materials: Covered by manufacturer warranties only. Customer-supplied materials are not covered, and labor for replacement is excluded.

Exclusions: Warranty is void if systems are altered, tampered with, improperly used, neglected, or affected by acts of God.

4 Permits and Access

The Company will obtain required electrical permits and schedule inspections. The Customer must provide safe, unobstructed access to work areas including panels, crawlspaces, and attics. The Company is not responsible for moving furniture or belongings.

5 Concealed Conditions

If concealed or hazardous conditions are discovered (including outdated NEC wiring or structural issues), work will pause and a written change order will be issued before continuation.

6 Drywall and Painting

Unless explicitly included in the Scope of Work, the Company is not responsible for patching, sanding, texturing, or painting surfaces affected by electrical installation work.

7 Right to Stop Work

The Company reserves the absolute right to suspend or stop work if payment terms are not strictly followed.

8 Limitation of Liability

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9 Washington State Notice

As required under Washington State law:

NOTICE TO CUSTOMER: This contractor is registered in Washington under license number PROELEL744L2 and has posted a bond or deposit of $4,000. This bond may not fully cover claims arising from your contract. This notice complies with Washington consumer protection laws (RCW 19.28 / RCW 18.27).

10 SMS Consent and Privacy

Phone numbers collected for SMS communications are used exclusively for transactional and operational purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for marketing purposes.

11 Types of SMS Communications

By opting in, you agree to receive:

• Appointment confirmations and scheduling updates
• Technician arrival notifications and job updates
• Invoicing and billing alerts
• Safety or operational notices and occasional promotions (if opted-in)

12 Message Frequency & Fees

Message frequency varies depending on service activity, typically 2–4 messages per job.

Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

13 Opt-In, Opt-Out & Support

Opt-In: Provided via phone, online forms, or initial SMS interaction.

Opt-Out: Reply “STOP” at any time to unsubscribe. A final confirmation message will be sent.

1. Scope of Work

Proeltel Electric LLC (the “Company”) shall perform the electrical services as described in the provided Estimate. Any additional work or “change orders” requested by the Customer or not included in estimate after the start of the project will be billed at our standard hourly rate plus materials, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

2. Payment Terms

Residential: Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless a progress payment schedule is specified.

Late Fees: Past due balances will accrue 12% penalty and interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum rate allowed by law.

Collection Costs: Customer agrees to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees, should legal action be necessary.

3. Warranties

Labor: The Company warrants labor for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This warranty only covers defects in workmanship.

Materials: Materials and fixtures are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty. The Company does not warrant customer-supplied materials.

Exclusions: This warranty is void if the electrical system has been tampered with, repaired by others, or subjected to misuse or “acts of God”.

4. Permits and Access

The Company will obtain all necessary electrical permits and responsible for it’s permit & inspections of the work. The Customer is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the work area, including electrical panels and crawlspaces. The Company is not responsible for moving furniture or personal belongings.

5. Concealed Conditions

If the Company encounters concealed or unknown conditions (e.g., hidden rot, outdated wiring not meeting current code, or structural obstructions) that were not visible during the initial assessment, the Customer will be notified immediately of any necessary price adjustments which result in a change order.

6. Drywall and Painting

Unless specifically listed in the Scope of Work, the Company is not responsible for patching, sanding, or painting drywall, lath, or plaster that must be cut to install or move electrical components.

7. Washington State “Notice to Customer” (Lien Law) As required by RCW 18.27.114:

NOTICE TO CUSTOMER: This contractor is registered with the state of Washington, license ##PROELTEL744L2, and has posted with the state a bond or deposit of $12,000 for the purpose of satisfying claims against the contractor for negligent or improper work or breach of contract in the conduct of the contractor’s business. THIS BOND OR DEPOSIT MIGHT NOT BE SUFFICIENT TO COVER A CLAIM THAT MIGHT ARISE FROM THE WORK DONE UNDER YOUR CONTRACT.

8. Right to Stop Work

The Company reserves the right to stop work if payments are not made as agreed.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Company’s liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid for the services rendered. The Company is not liable for consequential or incidental damages.
